The property
In the heart of Jupiter's business district, the Shoppes of Jupiter Creek is a commercial complex of restaurants, shops, professional offices, and a fitness center. Retail and office tenants are judged on curb appeal every day they are open. A tired exterior is a leasing problem, not just a maintenance item.
What we did
Our team completed an overhaul of all four buildings.
A fresh, modern palette went on in the Sherwin-Williams Loxon line of exterior paints. Loxon is designed for harsh climates and is mildew and UV resistant. Its self-cleaning formula sheds dirt with rain or other water contact, which matters on a property where ongoing maintenance competes with every other line in the CAM budget.
A stucco finish over the dated brick columns. This was the change that did the most work, a straightforward improvement that modernized the buildings' exteriors far beyond what a repaint alone would have achieved.
Why it matters
On a multi-tenant retail center, the highest-leverage move is often not the largest one. Identifying that the brick columns were dating the entire property, and treating them rather than simply painting around them, is what turned a maintenance repaint into a visible repositioning of the center.
