Commercial & Residential Painting

Electrostatic Painting in Florida

A smooth, factory-like finish for the metal on your property, applied where it already stands. No removal, no shop trip, and far less overspray than conventional spraying.

How It Works

A factory finish, applied in place

Electrostatic painting gives the paint an electrical charge as it leaves the spray gun. The metal you are painting is grounded, so the charged paint is pulled onto it and wraps around edges, corners, and the back side of pickets and rails instead of drifting past them.

The result is an even coat on every face of the metal, with far less paint landing where it should not. That is why it suits occupied buildings: less masking, less cleanup, and residents and tenants keep using the space around the work.

What We Refinish

Almost any metal on your property

If it is metal and it is fixed in place, it can usually be refinished where it stands.

  • Balcony & stair railings

Aluminum and steel, pickets and top rails

  • Sliding door & window frames

    Refinished in place, glass masked

  • Storefront frames

    Mullions and entry systems

  • Metal doors

    Entry, service, and garage doors

  • Fences & gates

    Pool fencing, perimeter fencing, gates

  • Light poles & mailboxes

    Site fixtures and decorative metal

Our Process

Four steps, every time

  1. 01

    Protect

Glass, stucco, tile, and landscaping around the metal are masked and covered before any prep starts.

  2. 02

    Prepare

Rust, corrosion, and failed coatings come off. The finish only lasts as long as the surface underneath it.

  3. 03

    Prime

An epoxy primer goes on electrostatically to every metal surface to seal it and give the topcoat a bond.

  4. 04

    Finish

A urethane topcoat in the color you choose, matched to your existing palette when you want it to blend in.

Straight Answers

Refinish or replace?

If the metal is sound, refinishing keeps it in place: no fabrication lead time, no demolition, and no install crew. If it is not, a coating is the wrong answer, and we will say so.

Refinishing is a good fit for

  • Faded, chalking, or peeling paint on otherwise solid metal
  • Surface rust that cleans back to sound metal
  • A color change across the property without replacing anything
  • Frames and railings that match a building you are repainting

Repair comes first when you see

  • Corrosion that has eaten into the metal itself
  • Loose posts, failed anchors, or cracked concrete at the base
  • Railings an inspection has flagged for repair

Those need repair first. Because we also handle concrete restoration and waterproofing, the repair and the finish can be one scope instead of two contractors.

Repainting the whole building? Commercial painting and residential painting projects can fold the metal into the same scope.

FAQ

Electrostatic Painting Questions

What is electrostatic painting?+

It is a spray method where the paint is given an electrical charge and the metal being painted is grounded. The charged paint is attracted to the metal, so it wraps around edges and the back side of rails and pickets and leaves an even, factory-like coat with much less overspray.

What can be electrostatically painted?+

Metal: aluminum and steel railings, sliding door and window frames, storefront frames, metal doors, fences, gates, light poles, mailboxes, and decorative metal. Stucco, wood, and vinyl are painted with conventional methods, and we handle those too.

Can you match the color we have now?+

Yes. Electrostatic finishes come in virtually any color, and we can match your existing palette or take the property to a new one.

How long before residents can use the area again?+

Most finishes are dry within hours. The crew confirms the cure time for the specific product before a balcony, door, or gate goes back into normal use.

Is refinishing cheaper than replacing railings or frames?+

When the metal is sound, refinishing is usually the lower-cost path because it skips fabrication, demolition, and installation. When the metal is not sound, it needs repair or replacement first, and we will tell you that up front.

Do you do electrostatic painting for homes?+

Yes. Railings, fences, gates, and garage and entry doors on single-family homes get the same process we use on condominiums and commercial buildings.

Where do you offer electrostatic painting?+

Across Florida's East Coast, from Miami to St. Augustine, for condominiums, HOAs, commercial properties, and homes.
